Growing up at Wellesley Nursery.
As we begin talking about transitions and growing up, our Nursery children have been reflecting on how much they have changed. They loved sharing baby photos during Show and Tell and creating self-portraits after carefully studying themselves in the mirror.
At Wellesley Nursery, our Acorns (ages 2–3) enjoy a nurturing environment focused on exploration, communication and independence through play, while our Oaks (ages 3–4) begin preparing for school life through a balance of structured learning and free play.
The self-portraits created by our Oak children will accompany them to Reception, while the Acorns’ portraits will remain in Nursery as they continue their journey next year. A lovely way to celebrate how far they’ve come and look ahead to the next exciting chapter.
