Celebrating the end of term.
Today we celebrated the end of term with our Nursery Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
With two Golden Time treats, it was a fitting way to mark what has been a wonderful term. The children earned Golden Time for beating the tidy-up timer 10 times and for filling the class gem jar—such fantastic teamwork! I hope all the children feel very proud of their gem achievements this summer.
Our Golden Time treats included face painting by Mrs Hodgkiss and a disco led by Ms Clarke. The Bluey Song and our Sports Day song were firm favourites, with lots of children busting moves.
Miss Goor also led some parachute games and helped the children to create their own bear ears, which they enjoyed wearing throughout the morning.
We shared a selection of bear-themed stories, including Don’t Wake the Bear, Hare!, Bumble Bear, and We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, before finishing with a lovely picnic lunch in the grounds.
